George Fox University Climbing Club participated in the 2025 NW Collegiate Climbing Circuit competition, where other climbing clubs and teams traveled to multiple universities in the Pacific Northwest to compete. It was GFU’s first year participating, and with the smallest wall of the competition, they wanted fun branding that could be printed on merch. I proposed ideas to the marketing team. The climbing team decided initially on Option C.
After giving multiple polished options for Concept C, the climbing team decided they wanted to go with Option B. With little time left to print collateral for the event, with the pivot, I sat at a coffee shop on my spring break roadtrip to California and cranked out all the following collateral in only a few hours. Because of the time crunch, I also utilized user-friendly programs like Canva for social media assets so the climbing team could drag and drop image assets.
